Tournament tough and Island beautiful, the course has hosted the B.C.G.A. Men’s Mid-amateur Championship, will host the B.C.G.A. Women's Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championship and has been selected by the Royal Canadian Golf Association to host the Canadian Men's Mid-Amateur Championship in 2008.
Our tranquil setting remains the same with grassy meadows, westcoast woodlands and a magnificent view of Mount Arrowsmith providing the backdrop for a new golf experience on Vancouver Island. We’ve designed 8 new holes and renovated or lengthened 8 others, adding bunkers as well as water features. Staffed by a group of dedicated professionals, from our hardworking Maintenance crew and Restaurant staff to our Golf Operations team and Teaching Professionals, we have put together a Team dedicated to creating an environment that will enhance every part of the game and bring golfers closer to that game they know they can play. Our comprehensive new training facility featuring natural grass tees on the Practice Area, a short game area with an 8000 ft2 pitching green, a 10,000 ft2 chipping green and strategically placed bunkers, grass swells & mounds, allows golfers to practice realistic situations found on tournament golf courses.
This beautiful course forms the hub around which future plans are being drawn for a new clubhouse, featuring the popular Pheasant's Nest Restaurant & lounge, banquet & meeting facilities and an expanded Golf Shop. A spa, fitness centre and indoor swimming pool are also in the design phase. Resort accommodations will vary from suites, overlooking Mount Arrowsmith and the 9th green, to villas and cottages scattered throughout this wooded 40-acre resort property.
